Aduro A/S is responsible for managing the data on adurofire.com.

You can use the Aduro website universe without disclosing your identity. Details of the information that we gather as standard when you access the websites is described below. If you register for any of our services or contact us via forms, there will be detailed information about how your data is processed in connection to your registration.

Aduro A/S, as controller of personal data, is responsible for the processing of personal data that relate to you under applicable data protection laws and regulations.

Collection and processing of personal data on websites
When you access any Aduro website, your web browser is technically configured to automatically transmit the following data ("log data") to our web server, which we then capture in log files:

  • Date of access
  • Time of access
  • URL of the referring website
  • File retrieved
  • Data volume transmitted
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • IP address
  • Domain name of your internet access provider

This is exclusively information which does not allow you to be identified. This information is necessary for technical purposes in order to correctly deliver the content requested by you and its collection is an unavoidable aspect of using websites. The log data is analyzed purely for statistical purposes in order to improve our website and its underlying functionality. 

We store other personal data only if you disclose such data to us, e.g. as part of registration or filling in a contact form, a survey, a prize competition or for the performance of a contract, and even in these cases we store your data only where you have permitted us to do so on the basis of consent issued by you or in accordance with applicable legislation (you will find further information on this below in the section “Legal basis for processing”).

You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to give us your personal data. However, certain features on our web pages may depend on your letting us have your personal data. If, in such cases, you do not give us your personal data, this may lead to features either not being available or being available only to a limited extent.

Data regarding the use of Aduro’s apps
Aduro's apps “Aduro Hybrid”, “Aduro Pellet Stove”, and “Aduro Smart Response” continuously collect data, which is used for support, statistics, and further development of Aduro's products.

Aduro A/S is responsible for your personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation and with this privacy policy.

The purpose of the apps is to give you/the user the opportunity to have extended control over the stove, which includes changing settings and controlling and monitoring the stove.

When registered to our cloud services “Aduro Cloud” and “Wappsto” (provided by NBE, Prevas, Seluxit, and Ektos), the stove and the apps will, when connected to the internet, continuously transfer data to these cloud services. The data includes changes in settings, combustion data, and alarms. General app data can also be transferred to the cloud services such as app performance, crash logs and your usage of the app.

When registering a user profile on the apps, personal information like name, address, phone number etc. will be transferred to the cloud services. This information is used for support and statistical purposes and can be used for marketing purposes by Aduro.

Forwarding of data to third parties
Your data is treated confidentially, and personal information will never be disclosed to a third party unless you specifically allow it (i.e. the Aduro GO form), and we never collect personal information without you having given us this information for example, when registering, purchasing or participating in a survey.

Links to other websites
Our websites may contain links to other websites. We have no influence on the compliance or non-compliance of the operators of these sites with the data protection provisions.

For how long will Aduro keep your personal data?
Aduro A/S will keep your personal data as long as required to fulfill the purposes for which the personal data was collected. 

Your data protection rights
If you wish to gain access to the information we have registered on you at Aduro A/S, you can contact info@aduro.dk. If any data is registered incorrectly or if you have other objections, you can contact the same email address. It’s possible for you to gain insight in the information we have registered, and you can object to what we have registered. However, please note that Aduro A/S may not always be obliged to comply with a request of deletion, restriction, objection or data portability. Assessment will be made on a case by case basis of Aduro’s legal obligations and the exception to such rights.
